About

FoodCycle Bristol – the idea is simple.

Food retailers throw out millions of tonnes of edible food every year. At the same time people across the UK, including many in Bristol, lack the means or acces to enjoying a healthy meal shared with others. The aim of FoodCycle is to redirect surplus food so it can be shared by all the community. We’re cooking tasty meals and tackling food poverty and social isolation.

Originally set up by University of Bristol Students, FoodCycle Bristol now incorporates volunteers from across Bristol. We are always looking for more volunteers and willing helpers – particularly non-students. To get involved, or to find out more, contact bristol@foodcycle.org.uk .
