S.C.A hosted our first Student Restaurant after the holidays last wednesday and we had a delicious APPLE AND MANGO crumble (with a golden ring hidden inside). Here’s this weeks recipe:
Peel apples and heat them in a pan with some added water until soft.
Pick the mago flesh off the stone with your fingers, and add to the softened apple mixture.
Add sugar to taste, and then blend the mixture. Layer into a baking tray.
For the topping mixe together half brown sugar and half flour, along with some cocoa powder, cinnamon, and raisins.
Slowly add butter, mixing it in with your fingers until you get a crumbly texture.
Layer the crumble on top, and bake in the oven until the topping goes crispy and golden.
